HOUSE & LAND CLEARINGS

In posthumanist, animistic belief systems, it is known that all beings have a Spirit. The stones, the rivers, the Land itself. When engaged with, one finds these beings to have their own set of boundaries, invitations and, should we choose to listen, are in constant conversation with the human world. Being in conversation with Nature can nurture the knowing of our own animal bodies and allow us to find a deeper sense of belonging and harmony within our natural surroundings.

However, when opening our senses to Nature and the Unseen world, we can sometimes become sensitive to certain energies that present themselves. Whether it be a Nature Spirit that is voicing a concern or perhaps a disgruntled disembodied human Spirit, the energy of place might become disturbed. Clearing practices can help to settle such discord by moving unwanted beings on from places, helping them to find peace in their appropriate realm. Land Blessings can work with the Spirit of a place to ritualize and encourage more harmonious relationships.

In house or land clearings, a variety of ritual tools such as burning herbs/smudge, salt, and the drum will be used to work with Spirits in the Unseen realms. All work is done with respect and love for the Land and for any lost souls involved. Often times these practices require the home or land owner participate in the ceremony to appease the Spirits and return to harmonious relationship.

Work can be done distantly or in person.
