Within the ancient sisterhood of the Spinners & Weavers sit the Fates or Morai - the keepers of the threads of Life and destiny. This sisterhood, through their Distaff Ways, hold the wisdom of the healing story, the gift of magical word, and weave with and as the spirit of Change.

Through this three part training, practices, healing techniques and direct partnership with the allies of these ways will assist you through ceremonial healing rites to be utilized for self and others and to embody and bring about great change.

This course takes place through three modules: 2 online and 1 in person in Santa Fe, NM where you’ll be invited to participate in immersive ritual both with your group and as an offering to the larger community.

We gather in an oasis held within the red Earth desert of New Mexico to build a bridge between Heaven and Earth, Within and Without.

Through our explorations, we nourish the physical lexicon for embodied animism to arrive and arise.

We receive the voices of the more than human world - the benevolent ancestors, Sky, Earth, Green Beings, Unseen, Wise Ones - allowing the body to speak as the nexus point of all in right relation. The expression of the chthonic rises and the ancestral skies move through the body mystical to evoke an elixir of internal, creative force where new mythologies for the animate world spring forth and find voice through humanity again.

CIRCLE is an intimate container for 6 practitioners of Lyceum work who wish to receive ongoing mentorship, personalized instruction and have the space to connect with community around bringing more of their work into their professional practice/vocation. (Next CIRCLE will begin the first week of January 2024 and is open by application.)

In this 3 hour workshop we journey together towards the unknown through embodiment practices, vocalization, oracular visioning and liminal arts practices. All genders and levels of experience are invited, just bring your curiosity and care. The last 30 minutes of the workshop will include a performance ritual in which you are invited to process the work through the simple act of resting and of being-with.

We invite you to SLUMBER: a place to dream with intention within a community of Dreamers. (Think Pajama Jammy Jam meets Ceremonial Dream Temple.) Intentional, Collective Dream Ritual can serve to evoke the prophetic and healing potential of Dream and come to nourish shared vision, sense of belonging, purpose and connection. In this two part, in-person course, we'll guide you through Liminal Arts practices that allow you to access the wisdom of Dreams whilst awake, teach you how to Dream with intention for particular purpose, how to glean healing imagery from those Dreams and then work with that imagery in the form of a Dream Guardian illustration and Dreaming Sigil image to work with for your own personal Dream explorations.

We move into the liminal land of the Dark, the shadow lands, where all is possible and where what’s been hidden resides. To work in these ways unearths potential and brings up all that wants to move and take shape in your being and in the life you’re living.

In many ancient cultures and Earth honoring ways, it is known that the dark is a place of regeneration, deep wisdom and limitless possibility. We sustain these truths through our continued connection to the wisdom of our Wombs, the Wells, the Waters, and the Earth herself.

Through working with the allegory of the Well, we will build trust with our inner seeing and bring the wisdom of the Otherworld to rise in our knowing, our seeing, and the way we show up for the world we live in.

In this wildly celebratory exploration of anything-goes-ness, we’ll seek Shamanic practice, movement and ceremony to step out of the ordinary and into the place of the betwixt and between where anything is possible. As we hover in this liminal landscape, this place of radical hope, amid the times we find ourselves in, and the new eden we dream of, we free up the riches of a new reality through the unapologetic freedom of creative expression. Witness of unleashed individualism lights up the living constellation of community. And, as we wake more fully to all realms of possibility, we rise and dare to take flight within the murmuration of the collective dream.

We will move with shadows, find stillness, then quiver and fall into the whirling arms of Midnight. We will weep at our own feet to grieve, honor and celebrate the forever-changing Self. Community holds us in kind witness to these tender and potent stories of descent, dissolve and resurrection.
